Leon Bridges is a soul revivalist with enough charm to actually pull it off. The Fort Worth, TX singer/songwriter is releasing his debut album Coming Home in late June, and so far we’ve heard the title track, “Lisa Sawyer,” and “River.” Today, Bridges has shared another new track called “Better Man” in the form of a crisp, black and white performance video. Much like his “Coming Home” video, this one relies on the same classic aesthetics that underly his sound — smooth, simple, and soulful. The song itself is about treating a woman wrong and begging for a second chance, another tried-and-true standard that Bridges pulls off with easy grace. Watch it below.
