The World Is…’s new album, Harmlessness, comes out next week — it’s one of my absolute favorite albums of the year, and hopefully it will be one of yours too. They’ve shared two tracks from it so far — “January 10th, 2014” and “I Can Be Afraid Of Anything,” both of which made our 5 best songs of the week list when they came out — and yesterday, they shared a third in a bit of an unconventional way. The band set up a website (harmlessness.horse — choice pull quote: “As a horse I found this to be a very anti-horse album”) where, in exchange for an e-mail address, you can download a backwards version of a new track from the album named “Wendover.” Thanks to #technology, you can also hear it the proper way below.
