Legendary UK shoegazers Ride are set to release Weather Diaries almost a week from today — their first album in 21 years following 1996’s Tarantula — and they continue to let us in on the new material before the official drop. We’ve already heard new songs “Charm Assault,” “Home Is A Feeling,” and “All I Want,” and today the band has unveiled their album opener “Lannoy Point.”

While “Lannoy Point” fits smoothly next to “Home Is A Feeling” due to their similar cosmic sounds, it’s exciting to see how each new song’s differences and intricacies come together on this new release, and it so far finds Ride constructing and writing songs in a whole new way.
