but dunno ’bout this hipster alien abduction thing the video’s got going on. i would far prefer something that visually echoed the frenetic, syncopated sound of the song and the same time paralleled the poignacy of the song.

I can’t stop listening to the song (and Hot Chip Remix), but I don’t think I’ll ever watch that again.
For such an energizing song, the video is utterly listless. Junior Boys deserve better than this.
Congrats on being in the Top 100 blogs per links per Technorati. The video reminds me way back when to stop drinking when it taste like a soft drink. It took me awhile to learn the lesson which the video drunks need to learn as well.

Junior Boys straight-up suck in concert, though.
I wouldn’t say they sucked, but when I saw them in Philly a few years ago they were kind of jerks. Kept complaining about the sound, which seemed fine to me, and they got pissier as the show went on, to the point that the place turned out the lights on them briefly. one of those “shut up and play” moments.
with the kind of music they make i don’t think they should be expected to be great live. they’re music chill and cool. i think their album was one of the best of the last year and that they are incredibly talented.
that being said this video blows and i hate that the song is being used by Marriott.
