L.A. synth traveler D?M-FunK has never been exactly shy about his Prince influence, but he makes it just a little more concrete today, covering Prince's "When Doves Cry" B-side "17 Days" as the B-side to his own "I Don't Wanna Be A Star" maxi single. The "I Don't Wanna Be A Star" 12" is out 8/28. On the same day, he'll also release the Dam-Drum, a handheld drum machine and sequencer that he and Bleep Labs collaborated on.
