Years ago, Canadian producer Colin Munroe worked with Drake collaborators Boi-1da D10 to create the pulsating R&B track "Whatever Became of You," a song that was a candidate to make Drake's 2010 LP Thank Me Later. Though Drake put a vocal track on it, "Where Were You" never made the record. The song -- a duet with former Danity Kane/current Diddy-Dirty Money singer Dawn Richard -- found its way to the Internet, though, so head to Hip Hop Lead to hear it. Munroe, wanting to make something of the scrapped, pummeling piece of production, re-recorded it for his mixtape Unsung Hero, and you can hear his take below.
