The long-running, hard-pogoing Portland punk trio the Thermals will drop their new album Desperate Ground in a couple of months, and first single is a righteous rager called "Born To Kill," an anthemic call-to-arms that ends in less than two minutes. It's not like this band ever got pretentious, even at their most ambitious, but this still qualifies as a back-to-basics move. I'm not sure why the song needed a lyric video; Hutch Harris isn't the sort of singer whose words you ever have trouble making out. But the song has one anyway, and you can check it out below.
