National Wake were a multiracial punk band from South Africa who formed in the wake of 1976's Soweto Uprising. They're one of those bands that's always been lost to history; they only released one album, and it sold 700 copies. But now the great boutique reissue label Light In The Attic has compiled everything the band ever recorded, and they'll release it as Walk In Africa: 1979-81.
