The Montreal producer Blood Diamonds is a friend of and frequent collaborator with Grimes; they made "Phone Sex" together, and that thing still sounds great more than a year later. He's also a prolific Soundcloud remixer and, most recently, the latest artist on Skrillex's OWSLA imprint. Blood Diamonds' new single "Osaka" has some of the marimba-driven float of his earlier music, but it's also got a bottom end that's turbulent and thunderous enough to impress his new label boss.
