Tomas Barfod (of Danish band WhoMadeWho) and Nina Kinert (who is going by Nina K here) paired beautifully on a pair of tracks from Barford's 2012 album Salton Sea, particularly "November Skies." Now they're back together with "Pulsing." It's an apt title because Barfod's synths here throb with a dangerous intensity. Even as prettier melodies chime around it, there's a menace brewing underneath. That's where Kinert comes in, balancing Barfod's production with her gorgeous voice.
