The Baton Rouge rapper Kevin Gates made two of last year's best rap full-lengths: The mixtape The Luca Brasi Story and the album Stranger Than Fiction. In a few weeks, he'll be back with another album called By Any Means. Gates is great with heady concepts, but he can also knock out simple, effective asshole-rap anthems, and the By Any Means single "Amnesia" is that. It's about forgetting whether you've fucked somebody. And it has a guest verse from Doe B, the 22-year-old Alabama rapper who was murdered last year, when he was just getting good. Listen below.
