The Boomtown Rats reunited last year for a tour around Ireland and the United Kingdom, but the new wave band made their first appearance stateside in over twenty years at a show at New York City's Terminal 5 on Friday night. The Bob Geldof-fronted group performed as part of Smithwick's Presents: The Big Sessions, along with other Irish artists the Stunning and Mundy. The group is scheduled for one more U.S. tour date in Boston tonight. Watch the group perform "I Don't Like Mondays" below.
