Berkeley punk lifers Rancid have a new album coming out, and if you know anything about me, you know that I am extremely fucking amped about this. The band has already shared a video of themselves playing three of the songs from the new Honor Is All We Know in quick succession, and now they’ve posted the studio version of the new song “Face Up.” The song moves from bouncy pop-punk to giddy ska, packing in a rockabilly guitar solo and way too many hooks, and it ends below the two-minute mark. It’s indisputable evidence, if you needed it, that this band can still get it done. Listen below.
