Rick Ross - Nickel Rock

Rick Ross apparently still intends to release his new album Hood Billionaire before this month is over, and his new track “Nickel Rock” is a crack-dealing anthem that unites him with the Baton Rouge energy-bomb Lil Boosie. The song is decent enough, but Boosie just murders his verse, as he’s murdered every verse he’s done lately. Ross has also shared a remix to “Elvis Presley Blvd.,” the Project Pat collab that served as the street single from Hood Billionaire. That song worked as a tribute to classic rough-hewn Memphis underground rap, and the remix features a full crew of grimy Memphis hardheads. Pat’s on there again, and so are Juicy J, Yo Gotti, MJG, and Young Dolph. The remix is seven minutes long, and it’s worth it just for the MJG verse about refusing to let cataclysmic property damage interrupt sex. Listen to “Nickel Rock” and the “Elvis Presley Blvd.” remix below.
