Busses are one of the many fine rock bands hailing from Philadelphia these days. "Wizard Of The Eye," the title track from their new LP, is a monstrous, melodic guitar outburst that touches on the raucous garage rock of the Ty Segall/Wand/Meatbodies school, the sunshine psych of Tripping Daisy, and the off-kilter post-rock of Akron/Family. It's a big beast of a song, ferocious but friendly enough to keep coming back to. Listen below.
Wizard Of The Eye is out 2/17, and Busses play an album release show 2/14 at Johnny Brenda's in Philadelphia.
