"We started playing music together and it was Alright," goes the bio of this North Carolina-based trio, who are getting ready to release a self-titled 7" later this year. Well, it's more than alright -- it's actually pretty great. (That was lame, sorry.) The band's made up of Sarah Blumenthal, Late Bloomer's Joshua Robbins, and former It Looks Sad drummer Garrett Herzfeld, and they have a lock on nostalgic, straight-forward punk with a decidedly sentimental bent. Take the ridiculously fun and catchy lead single "Cold Feet" -- it's earnest, a little bratty, and totally sounds like it could be some long-lost bonus track from the Clueless soundtrack. And that's just about the highest compliment I can give a song. Check it out below.
