In a recent Q&A with Rolling Stone, Aubrey Plaza explained that her Twitter handle, @evilhag, came from both a political humor blog that she wrote "from the point of view of a sea witch living on the bottom of the ocean," as well as this video from 2008, "Teen Hag," which she noted was still available to watch on YouTube.
