Always-busy stoner-rap producer the Alchemist is about to release a new mostly-instrumental album called -- swear to God -- Retarded Alligator Beats. The album only features one guest, and that guest is Alc's frequent collaborator Action Bronson. On the single "Voodoo," Bronson attacks Alc's tumbling breakbeats and oblique string-stabs, talking about stashing the acid in the asshole of a German poodle and skating through customs, eating muffins. It's a fun, weird, chorus-free rap marathon, and you can hear it below.
The self-released Retarded Alligator Beats is out 7/10, and the vinyl edition comes with crayons for coloring.
