Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston, passed away yesterday at the age of 22, as People reports. She never fully regained consciousness after being found unresponsive in a bathtub in her Roswell, Georgia home nearly six months ago, and she was transferred to hospice care last month.

The Houston family confirmed the news yesterday in a statement to People: "Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away July 26, 2015, surrounded by her family. She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months."

Today, Bobby Brown, 46, has released a statement addressing her loss via his lawyer. "Krissy was and is an angel. I am completely numb at this time," he says. "My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honor her memory. Our loss is unimaginable. We thank everyone for the prayers for Krissy and our family as we mourn my baby girl."
