Writing about music in our ever-so-digitized age proves challenging when half of what you're hearing was made by a computer. Sometimes it'd be easier to just write: "What's happening here is a lot of... computer magic," which is what exactly what Band To Watch alum Danielle "Danz" Johnson has chosen to call herself. Danz has released a number of Computer Magic records in France and Japan, but her debut LP in the US, which will be self-released on her label Channel 9 Records, is called Davos, derived from the abandoned ski area town where Danz grew up in Woodridge, New York. Listen to "Be Fair" below--it's one lusty synthpop hook after another.
