Soft Fangs was named a Band To Watch way back in 2014 when John Lutkevich released his self-titled debut EP under the moniker. That collection of songs pulled us into his muted, beautiful world, and I haven’t been able to escape it since. Lutkevich hasn’t either, and from what we’ve heard so far, it sounds like his forthcoming LP will expand on the sonic landscape that was first presented to us. The Light’s debut single “The Air” dropped last month, and now you can listen to “Birthday,” which Lutkevich told The FADER that he wrote this track on his 26th birthday. Check it out below.
