The Toronto-based producer Tommy Paxton (bka River Tiber) teamed up with Pusha T, Kaytranada, and Doc McKinney to make a new single which will be formally released this Friday by Red Bull Sound Select. The slow-burning "Illusions" premiered on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 Radio show, and Paxton spoke to the DJ about the song's origins. Paxton started working on the track with Pusha and Kaytranada in LA before taking it back to Toronto to finish it up with producer McKinney. River Tiber's debut LP, Indigo, is due out this year.
