Feisty Ann Arbor shoegazers Pity Sex are set to drop their album White Hot Moon in just over a couple weeks. They’ve already shared the singles “What Might Soothe You,” “Burden You,” and “Bonhomie” and it’s shaping up to be very good.

Today, they take things back to the ’90s, as they have a tendency to do, with “Pin A Star” via Spin. Warm, warped distortion on guitar, intricate drum roll transitions, and bouyant bass swell around Britty Drake’s delicate vocals. Drake implores “Don’t waste your time/ ‘Cause it won’t wait for you,” but there is no need to worry about time when you can revive an era like they do. Listen.
