At the beginning of the year, Kristin Welchez (fka Dee Dee from Dum Dum Girls) announced that she started a new solo project under the moniker Kristin Kontrol. We heard the title track off of her debut album, X-Communicate, a few months later, and then interviewed her at SXSW to learn more about the project. Kristin Kontrol’s new single, “Show Me,” premiered today via i-D; it’s a sultry, expertly-produced, slow dance track about releasing your inhibitions and giving yourself over to love. Listen below.
