St. Vincent's Annie Clark will make her directorial debut for the upcoming all-female-led horror anthology film XX. She co-wrote her segment, which is scheduled to start filming this spring. The film is being produced by Roxanne Benjamin, who was also behind the anthology series V/H/S, and the other directors include Karyn Kusama, Jennifer Lynch, and Jovanka Vuckovic. No word on what Clark's segment will be about or when the film will be released (maybe in time for Halloween!), though all the stories will revolve female protagonists. Here's a frustratingly vague press quote from Clark: "I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to explore the genre-film medium." OK!
