The noisy Montreal shoegaze band No Joy are planning to follow up More Faithful, the album that they released last year, with a series of EPs rather than another album. The first of those EPs has the delightful title Drool Sucker, and the band recorded it in a Canadian barn with both members of Holy Fuck producing. First single "A Thorn In Garlands Side" is a dizzy rush of noise and melody, and it's way nastier and more seasick that what you'll hear from most recent-vintage shoegaze bands. Check it out below.

Drool Sucker is out 7/15 on Topshelf.
