Watch Win Butler & Régine Chassagne’s Surprise DJ Performance At The Louvre

Yesterday, the street artist JR opened a show at the Louvre, which, as I understand it, is a pretty famous museum in Paris. (Sadly, this JR is not JR Smith; I would absolutely pay for a transcontinental flight if that guy had a Louvre show.) And as part of the opening festivities, he brought in Win Butler and Régine Chassagne, the couple who lead Arcade Fire, to do a surprise DJ set. From what we can see on video, that set involved live percussionists, David Bowie's "Oh! You Pretty Things," and Sinéad O'Connor's "Nothing Compares 2 U," as well as Butler covering Son House's “Grinnin’ In Your Face," performing a rendition of Neon Bible's "My Body Is A Cage," and as Arcade Fire Tube points out, what might be a brand-new song. That JR show apparently involves the artist transforming the Louvre's glass pyramid with "a surprising anamorphic image," so look out for that.
