We’ve already heard “Wire” and “Afterlife” from Deluxe, the upcoming debut by Omni. Today, the project of Frankie Broyles (ex-Deerhunter, Balkans), Philip Frobos (ex-Carnivores) and Billy Mitchell (ex-Carnivores) shared yet another single in anticipation of the LP’s early July release in the form of “Wednesday Wedding.” The single is similar to those that preceded it, with a quirky guitar line and distorted vocals keeping things interesting. Of the track, bassist/vocalist Philip Frobos says:

Frankie [Broyles] and I labored over “Wednesday Wedding” probably longer than any other song on the record. After many days of not knowing where to go with it or whether to just move on, Frankie came up with the pre-chorus guitar part (“white walls and advantages”) and almost immediately the chorus came to me. It all fell perfectly in place. “Wednesday Wedding” to me is an ode to a lot of my favorite bands. I wanted to write a song that sounded like a mix of a Cindy Wilson-led B-52s song and the Clean. I’m pretty happy with where Frankie and I arrived.
