Los Angeles R&B demigod has never been a particularly politically motivated artist, but after the events of the past week, he's just shared a new song, a Black Lives Matter lament called "How Many." It's a rough, spare synth-soul song that, Miguel writes, he wrote and recorded between 4 and 7AM in a London hotel room. Sample lyrics: "I'm tired of seeing of human lives turned into hashtags and prayer hands / I'm tired of watching these murderers get off." Miguel also writes that he'll update this version of the song "every week" until it's finished. Listen to it below, via Pitchfork.

"How Many" arrives shortly after Miguel shared a very different new song called "Come Through And Chill."
