St. Vincent recently covered the Golden Girls theme, and now she's done a cover of Karen Dalton's 1971 song "Something On Your Mind" for the Pete's Dragon soundtrack which is out today, as Pitchfork points out. She's injected the original with punchy drums, a ringing guitar, swelling violin flourishes, and cinematic sweeps, giving it a much bigger feel fit for a score. Listen to both.
