Ganser – “Pyrrhic Victory” & “Sunk”

Ganser are a Chicago four-piece who make a dark, meditative, pretty form of postpunk -- the sort that recalls some of the more melodic corners of the Factory Records roster, or the Pornography-era Cure. They've released a couple of EPs in the past two years, and today, they came out with a new single that features two tracks, "Pyrrhic Victory" and "Sunk." The first is a swirling, atmospheric jam, while the second gets a bit more fearsomely noisy. Both tracks are very much your time, and you can stream them below.

"Pyrrhic Victory" and "Sunk" are out now on Ganser's Bandcamp page.
