Flasher – “Destroy” Video

Earlier this year, the young DC punk trio Flasher released a really great self-titled album, one that drew on more spaced-out genres like dream-pop and shoegaze, as well as the classic push-pull post-hardcore of the band's hometown. The album started out its life as a Bandcamp exclusive, but now it's getting a proper release on Priests' label Sister Polygon. (Flasher singer/guitarist Taylor Mulitz is also a member of that band.) And director Drew Hagelin has also made a cool, stylized video for the album track "Destroy," in which the band members play in desolate, abandoned urban settings and watch themselves on TV screens. Check it out below, via NPR.
