The Avalanches – “Because I’m Me” Video

The Avalanches have a history of memorable videos, though they come as few and far between as their music -- "Frontier Psychiatrist," "Since I Left You" from their 2001 album, "Frankie Sinatra" and "Subways" from Wildflower -- and today the Australian group has shared a great new one for joyous album opener "Because I'm Me." It starts off with a young kid trying to impress an MTA booth attendant at a NYC subway stop, and he's eventually joined by a bunch of horn players and dancers and Sonny Cheeba from Bronx hip-hop duo Camp Lo, who guest on the track. It was directed by Greg Brunkalla. Watch below.
