Common has a new album, Black America Again, coming out next week, and last night he went on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform its title track. The recorded version of the song features Stevie Wonder, but BJ The Chicago Kid served as a substitute on the show, and both of them wore hoodies in a pointed and powerful political statement, one that matches up to the song's intentions. It's a great performance, and you should watch it below.
