Kid Cudi has made two promises since he checked into rehab. The first was a promise that the rollout for Passion, Pain, and Demon Slayin' would go on as planned while he was away thanks to his manager and label. The second was a vow to Drake that he would be out soon, and ready, willing, and able to deal with their beef in person.
Today, he continues with the first promise with a video for the Pharrell-assisted "Surfin," and hopefully that means he stays true to his word on the second. The self-directed clip features Cudi and a group of influencer homies including A$AP Rocky, Jaden Smith, Willow Smith, and King Chip in a disorienting, iridescent, jubilant dance party. It's nice to see Cudi smiling and having a good time with friends, and this video looked like a lot of fun to make. Hopefully we'll see much more of this when the Lonely Stoner gets out of rehab. Check it out.
