The Los Angeles rap experimentalists clipping. have a long history of making amazing videos with the director Carlos Lopez Estrada, and they’ve got a new one this morning. It’s for “Shooter,” a track from Wriggle, the EP that the group released this summer, before they got around to releasing their Splendor & Misery concept album. In the clip, we see rapper Daveed Diggs, as well as some dancers, standing in empty black space while bullets and explosions fill the air around them. It’s a powerful, stylized vision, the latest in a long series of them. Check it out below.
The Wriggle EP and Splendor & Misery are both out now on Sub Pop.
