Stream The Polyvinyl Plays Polyvinyl Comp

Illinois indie rock label Polyvinyl Records is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a neat bit of self-referential reflection. On the 20-track compilation Polyvinyl Plays Polyvinyl, the label's past and present artists cover each other. Some of the combinations are obvious (Beach Slang covering Japandroids), some not so much (Braid covering Alvvays). But all are worth your time given Polyvinyl's long track record of quality. The comp also features music or performances by American Football, Fred Thomas, Deerhoof, Xiu Xiu, Aloha, Vivian Girls, the Dodos, White Reaper, Architecture In Helsinki, and more. Stream it in full below via Brooklyn Vegan.

Polyvinyl Plays Polyvinyl is out 11/25 on Polyvinyl.
