Tim Heidecker Wrote A Song About Richard Spencer Getting Punched In The Face

One of the only satisfying aspects of yesterday’s inaugural festivities was the moment when, during a filmed interview segment on the street in Washington, DC, white supremacist Richard Spencer was punched in the face — this while explaining how Pepe the frog has become a symbol of his loathsome belief system, and just seconds after insisting he’s not a Neo Nazi. The footage quickly went viral and has become fodder for some extremely entertaining memes. And now Tim Heidecker of Tim And Eric, who has been known to convert current events into Randy Newman-style soft-rock ditties, has recorded a new song about the incident. Below, hear Heidecker croon, “If you see Richard Spencer, why don’t you punch him in the head?” and stick around for some of the dankest of the memes.
