Earlier this week, we learned that Dave Grohl was planning to perform at the Grammys. That's pretty normal! He's always performing at the Grammys! This time, though there were some weird circumstances. Grohl was planning to perform with A Tribe Called Quest and Anderson .Paak. That seemed like a bad idea! Yesterday, we learned that Grohl wouldn't be performing with the rap legends after all. Maybe he realized that he wasn't going to add anything to their performance. Or maybe Grohl just got too busy recording with his old rock buddies.

Yesterday, Eagles Of Death Metal frontman Jesse Hughes posted an Instagram photo of himself in the studio with his EODM bandmate and Homme's former(?) Them Crooked Vultures bandmate Grohl. He quickly deleted the photo, but everything on the internet is forever, so here it is:

Grohl, of course, could've just been hanging out in that studio; there's nothing to suggest he was making music with the two of them. But Grohl, as far as we know, has never visited a studio, heard other people making music, and turned down an offer to join them. So we'll see!
