The Juno Awards, Canada's answer to the Grammys, were held in Ottawa tonight. In addition to winning Artist Of The Year and Album Of The Year for his swan song You Want It Darker, the late Montreal native Leonard Cohen was honored with a tribute performance by Feist, who previously covered Cohen's "Closing Time" for the 2011 film Take This Waltz. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau introduced the performance, which featured Feist and two backup singers covering "Hey, That's No Way To Say Goodbye" while a slideshow of black-and-white photos played behind them. Other winners at this year's Junos include Grimes, who won Video Of The Year for "Kill V. Maim," Kaytranada, who won Electronic Album Of The Year for 99.9%, and the Weeknd, who won R&B/Soul Recording Of The Year for "Starboy."
