Knox Fortune – “Help Myself”

Even if you don’t realize it, you know the work of the Chicago singer and producer Knox Fortune; he’s the guy who sang the hook on Chance The Rapper’s glorious (and quickly blowing-up) Coloring Book house banger “All Night.” Knox recently unveiled “Help Myself,” a song that he co-wrote with the Chicago rapper Joey Purp. (Knox produced Joey’s “Girls @” last year.) It’s a fascinating song, one that moves from florid orchestral pop to hard, rhythmic old-school soul. Check it out below.

Knox plans to release a solo project sometime this year.
