Lately, we've seen reports that the Killers have been working with producers like Dave Fridmann and Jack Antonoff. And the band is slated to headline a number of festivals this summer. Since Battle Born, the band's last album, is nearly five years old, this seems like a pretty good sign that there's new music on the way. And now, probably by accident, an Australian Fox Sports website has leaked the news that the band's new single "The Man" will arrive next week.
As part of an article about the band performing at the forthcoming AFL grand final, Fox Footy reports that "The Man," the band's new single, is out 6/15. And that same article also claims that the band's as-yet-untitled next album will be out 9/20. Fox Footy, it turns out, is better at breaking musical news than most actual music websites.
