Earlier this year, Melody Prochet -- who makes music as Melody's Echo Chamber -- announced a new album, Bon Voyage, and shared its first single, "Cross My Heart." She also scheduled a tour that was set to start in October, but those dates have now been cancelled because Prochet was hospitalized after a "serious accident" earlier this month. A note from her family was just posted on her Facebook page:
Dearest Friends,
Melody suffered a serious accident earlier this month.
We are optimistic, but she needs to be in the hospital
for a few more months.
Due to these circumstances, Melody’s upcoming Tour
has been canceled.
But she is hopeful to be able to play shows again soon

It's unclear what the accident entailed, and it's also unclear when Bon Voyage is set to arrive. It was supposed to be released in the spring.
