Feist is having a kickass 2017: This morning her new album, Pleasure, one of our Best Albums Of 2017 So Far, made this year’s Polaris Music Prize Short List, her transcendental LP The Reminder turned 10, and in the midst of Colbert performances she found time to release a video for her latest track “Century.”
Directed by Scott Cudmore, the video pits Feist against her dopplegänger of sorts as they push and shove each other underneath an overpass. They’re both outfitted with a hoard of backup dancers who range from dancing in distress to dancing in unison as the video progresses. When all the fighting seems to have simmered down, Pulp’s Jarvis Cocker appears in the crowd for a cameo of his monologue. Check it out below.
Pleasure is out now via Interscope.
