As Radiohead can attest, Roger Waters isn't afraid to speak his mind. And what's been on his mind lately? Donald Trump. The Pink Floyd frontman's current Us + Them Tour in support of his recent album Is This The Life We Really Want? has drawn some criticism for its overt anti-Trump sentiment, exhibited in the form of giant images of an emasculated and/or porcine Trump projected onto the stage. "I find it slightly surprising that anybody could have been listening to my songs for 50 years without understanding," Waters told CNN in a new interview addressing the negative reaction in certain red states, where he sees several people walk out every night. And when asked what he'd say to fans who wanted escapism and not politics from their concerts, he replied, "Go see Katy Perry or watch the Kardashians. I don't care." (But haven't you heard, Roger? Katy Perry is woke now!) Watch below via Consequence Of Sound.
