Miya Folick appears to be making the leap on her upcoming EP Give It To Me. The first two singles demonstrated her mastery of the loud and fiery (“Trouble Adjusting”) as well as the piercingly intimate and raw (her cover of Joni Mitchell’s “Woodstock”). Today the LA musician shares a memorable video for the EP’s title track, a song that beautifully bridges those two intense aesthetics. The music is good — a passionate, sludgy, electrifying ’90s alt-rock throwback — but what will instantly captured your attention here are the visuals. They find Folick in the front seat of a rollercoaster, singing her lyrics with an ecstatic expression as the ride carries her through thrilling twists and turns. Watch below.
Give It To Me is out 11/3 on Terrible Records/Interscope.
