Sometimes NPR's Tiny Desk Concerts fly by, but Wyclef Jean took his sweet time and was all the better for it. The former Fugee stretched out his three-song set to 25 minutes, weaving in anecdotes about defying his preacher father, '90s encounters with Whitney Houston and Destiny's Child, and recruiting Bob Dylan for a video shoot. Wyclef was there to promote his new album Carnival III: The Fall And Rise Of A Refugee, and after two charming selections from that set -- "Borrowed Time" and "Turn Me Good" -- he and his band ran through a loose and vibrant "Gone Till November." Watch below; it'll make you want to get back into Wyclef Jean again.
