Portrait Of A Lady On Fire — excellent movie! That's also the title of the also-excellent new single from Kelsey Lu, whose new album So Help Me God is coming out this June (we really liked its lead single "Running To Pain"). "Portrait Of A Lady On Fire" is a cello-embellished synth ballad with a sort of sinuous, capricious vocal melody, on which Lu sings about the unsettling nature of a relationship's early stages: "Do you ever get like this, I wonder?" she repeats.
