My Chemical Romance Perform “Ambulance” Live For The First Time

Back in 2012, My Chemical Romance released their single "Ambulance" — part of a series of tracks that were collected on the 2013 box set Conventional Weapons. They went 14 years without ever playing that song live, but they finally busted it out for a July 4 show at Glasgow's Bellahouston Park.

Right now, MCR are back in action, playing their classic Welcome To The Black Parade live in full at every stadium show, then following it with a second set of whatever songs they feel like playing. In Glasgow on Saturday, frontman Gerard Way told the crowd, "I don't know which one of the EPs it was off of. The second one! Frank [Iero] knows; I think he sequenced them." It didn't sound like the kind of song that should go unperformed for all that time. Watch a fan video below.

In other news, My Chemical Romance are about to release a deluxe edition of 2010's Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys, their last proper album. They announced it back in May, and it comes out on Friday.
