Asher White doesn't stay quiet for too long, and thank god for that. Last year she released her 16th album 8 Tips For Full Catastrophe Living, which was also her debut for Joyful Noise that earned her our Artist To Watch honor. Earlier this year the prolific indie artist covered Jessica Pratt's entire debut LP, and now she's returning with another record called Love Aggregates.
The lead single "The Eagle Is No Omen" is here today. White says it's a "comprehensive self-inventory that earnestly attempts to thread together: my relationship to substance, gender dysphoria, eating disorder, my grandfather's recent passing, heartbreak, moral scrupulosity and the successful rehabilitation campaign of the American bald eagle, which was declared no longer endangered in 2007."
